Ava & Jacob Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund:
On August 6, 2010, the unthinkable happened. While spending the night with their grandparents on Belle River, a fire spread through the home, killing Michael and Mitzi Saucier and their grandchildren, Ava Dawn (3) and Jacob Michael Saucier (2 ½). The children’s parents, Blake and Kristen Saucier’s world was changed in an instant. Ava was a curly-haired free spirit, embracing life, love and laughter, dancing, and loved her family and friends. She had a protective nurturing way with her brother. Jacob was a bit more shy who loved anything outdoors, especially Mac trucks, backhoes, rocks and dirt. He adored his family, friends and especially his sister, Ava. He was blessed with dimples and a grin that could melt your heart.

As Kristen and Blake deal with the loss of their children, they walk by faith. The Lord enfolds them in His care, and they feel Ava and Jacob’s spirit urging them on to celebrate their lives. As a way to honor Ava and Jacob and to give back for the many blessings they have been given, Kristen and Blake are establishing the Ava and Jacob Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund at Holy Family School. Scholarships will be awarded each year so that more children may have the gift of a Catholic education here at Holy Family. Donations can be made to Holy Family School - Ava & Jacob Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Richard & Marguerite Genre Scholarship Fund
On October 5, 1995, Richard and Marguerite Genre established a scholarship fund which provides tuition assistance to Catholic families of Holy Family School. This fund falls within the auspices of the Nim Pequet Holy Family School Foundation. The Holy Family Development Office handles the receipt, acknowledgment, and accounting of all gifts to the foundation. All gifts to the fund are tax deductible.

The Monday and Carolyn Lowe Education Fund:
The Lowe family requested that the fund, in honor of Mr. “Monday” Lowe, be established to provide tuition assistance for families of Holy Family School.

The Nim Pecquet Foundation:
In September 1986, the family of N.F. Pecquet, Jr. established the Nim Pecquet Holy Family School Foundation in memory of his many years of service and dedication to Holy Family School. The purpose of the Foundation is to preserve and promote quality education at Holy Family School. The earnings generated from the Foundation will be a source of revenue for the needs of the school. Monies generated will never be used for operational expenses. Upon reaching assets of $50,000, the Foundation will begin the disbursement of earned interest only. All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible and are an excellent way to remember a deceased friend or loved one, as well as honoring a birthday or special occasion.

Our Jubilee Garden:
In 2000, as part of the 50th Anniversary of Holy Family School, a Jubilee Garden was constructed. Located between our oak tree and Kentucky Avenue, the Jubilee Garden contains a statue of the Holy Family, benches and beautiful landscaping. The highlight of the Garden is the inclusion of memory bricks. These bricks include inscriptions dedicated to former students, teachers, principals, and pastors or are dedicated in memory of family members. The Garden contains room for additional bricks. If you are interested in purchasing a brick in our Jubilee Garden, please call our office to obtain a form. The cost is $50.00.
